Preface

This OAGIS download contains the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) www.aiag.org Overlay in conjunction with the OAGIS 8.0 full release.

This work is the result of a collaboration of AIAG and OAGi volunteers and staff over a period of several months.  This Overlay will have more updates to it over time as the Workgroups continue their collaboration.

This first version of the Overlay focuses on the Materials Replenishment and Inventory Visibility business scenario.  These are described more fully in the documentation that accompanies the Overlay. 

There is a great deal more work to be done and this document will continue to be updated.  Much care has been given to make it as correct as possible.  If you find any errors, or if you have any comments, please do not hesitate to contact us at oagis@openapplications.org.
