"The Open Applications Group
enthusiastically supports ebXML and is taking several steps forward to adopt and
converge it with their own body of work. OAGi is able to do this because of
their technology neutral architecture and approach.
The Open Applications Group will support the ebXML transport layer, TRP, as an "envelope" for transmitting their 182+ OAGIS XML payloads. OAGIS will also support the CPP and CPA for collaboration protocol profiles and agreements. The ebXML BPSS will be populated with the many business collaborations already defined by the OAGi as well as all new business collaborations under development or planned. The OAGi will also work with the Core Components team to be good citizens. OAGi will work towards convergence with the core components effort by initially adopting the ebXML naming conventions for XML tags and by cross-referencing OAGIS XML tags to the UID in the core components specification." |
