Open Applications Group Workgroups

Introduction

We welcome you to our Workgroups Home Page.  We intend to add more information to this page over time.  Stay tuned.

The technical work of the Open Applications Group is divided into two types of Workgroups, Content and Technical.  The Content work is comprised of defining the business processes, their messages, and the data dictionary.  This work is contained in the OAGIS Specification and may be downloaded for free here.

The Technical work is comprised of XML design, development, UML repository work, and application architecture. 

All of the work of the Open Applications Group follows the OAGi Open Development Methodology.

All OAGI Workgroups are subject to the OAGi IP Policy as such each member of the Workgroup must read and sign-off on the OAGi IP Policy.

Project Management

These Workgroups are managed by the membership using a documented full cycle and Rapid Application Development process that focuses in on both SPEED and QUALITY.  This membership is truly leading the way for B2B and A2A interoperability.  For more information, we encourage you to come to our next meeting.

Automotive - Since the above Workgroups are dealing with the automotive domain this  team allows for a sharing of information across these Workgroups and soon to be additional Workgroups in the automotive domain.
